VERIFICATION OF COMPETENCY (VOC)
  • Verification of Competency (VOC) is an industry standard method used to validate competency requirements of industry personnel and identify any need for gap training.
    VOC is a process where skills and knowledge are evaluated against a set performance criteria.

  • Achieve Training and Assessment Services Offer the following VOC’s for Earthmoving Equipment.

    • Excavator
    • Skid Steer
    • Front-End Loader
    • Front-End Loader Backhoe
    • Dozer
    • Grader
    • Roller
    • Haul Truck

    NOTE: If a VOC is required for a High Risk machine (Forklift, EWP or Crane), a current original Safe Work High Risk Work Licence/Ticket must be presented before VOC can be commenced.

  • Usually on average 2 hours to complete.

  • $250.00 per assessment (if assessment is to be on client’s site using client’s machine, a minimum of 5 assessments are required).

  • All courses require a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 unless being invoiced.
    Corporate clients, following a successful credit reference check, will be forwarded an authority to invoice on the term of a 14 day account.
    For individuals, payment must be made by the first day of assessment.

    Facilities include Credit Card, EFTPOS or Cash.

    • You must be a minimum of 16 years of age
    • You will be required to conduct mathematical calculations throughout this course
    • You must understand and speak the English language at a level that enables the safe performance of required work
    • Wear clothing and footwear as per site requirements
    • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the commencement of assessment
  • Assessments will consist of theory and practical demonstration.

  • On satisfactory completion of all assessments, a photo card will be issued for the types of machines completed.

  • In the event of cancellation or withdrawal from this course within 7 days of the course commencement the $50.00 course deposit will retained by Achieve Training and Assessment Services for administration fees. Dependent upon circumstances students may be offered an alternative date for assessments. There is no charge for a student to transfer to an alternative date, provided notice was given at least prior to the course commencement time.

    In the event of a corporate client if Achieve Training and Assessment Services was not notified of the cancellation and the student does not attend assessment, the full course fee will be applicable.

    If Achieve Training and Assessment Services cancels the assessment course, and is not rescheduling then a full refund will be returned to the payer.
